ACUPUNCTURE

The practice of acupuncture, originated in China, dates back about two thousand years ago. Acupuncture has been widely accepted by the general population as one simple and effective traditional healing technique.

What is Acupuncture?
The term acupuncture has been commonly used for both acupuncture and moxibustion therapy.

Acupuncture refers to the gentle insertion of thin and fine needles into specific acupoints of the body to stimulate one(s) central nervous system, responding to the problems one(s) having.

Moxibustion refers to the burning of moxa (or mugwort), rolled in a stick, to provide heat to the skin around the inserted needles so as to improve blood circulation, inducing natural healing.

The length, number and type of treatment (acupuncture, moxibustion or combination of both) depend on each patient(s) condition.
